The Vienna Social Fund (FSW) ensures that people in Vienna receive the support they need. Its services include nursing and care, assistance for people with disabilities, support for the homeless, debt counseling, and basic services for refugees. Together with its approximately 170 partner organizations, the FSW provides rapid and personalized support to around 145,000 clients each year. With approximately 2,600 employees, the organization is a pioneer in the health and social services sector. The FSW is responsible for operating the 1450 telephone health advice service in Vienna.

FSW’s subsidiaries offer debt counseling, home nursing care, care in day centers for seniors, as well as care and support for homeless and displaced people and refugees, and training and continuing education for social and healthcare professions. The services also include affordable housing for various FSW target groups.
