AGAPLESION gAG was founded in 2002 in Frankfurt am Main by Christian organizations with the goal of strengthening primarily Christian healthcare institutions in a demanding economic and competitive environment.

Our network comprises more than 100 facilities across Germany, including 20 hospitals with 6,049 beds, 41 residential and nursing care facilities with 3,668 care places, seven hospices, 32 medical care centers, seven outpatient care services, and a continuing education academy. In addition, AGAPLESION provides nursing and healthcare training at 14 locations. Our more than 22,000 employees deliver comprehensive medical and nursing care based on recognized quality standards. Each year, around one million patients are treated. The total revenue of all facilities, including affiliated entities, amounts to 1.9 billion euros.
